Altimix Sound Services offers simplified package rates for Private & Corporate parties, Anniversaries, Class Reunions, or Wedding Receptions. Large or small events, we can accommodate you! We have found that keeping things simple makes it much easier for event planners. Below are a few simplified packages we offer our clients for both non-holiday and *holiday events. Our packages can be "customized" in many ways to help suit your needs. We also do Powerpoint slideshows to add and share your memories for that personal touch to make your event one-of-a-kind. Please keep in mind that requested modifications to the below suggested prices will be subject to extra charges depending on what is being requested or needed for your event. If you wish to contract our services on an hourly basis, our hourly rates start at $175.00+ per hour. Please review our money-saving package below to save before deciding to go with an hourly rate for your event. We do offer a discounted rate for multiple bookings.

Holidays are as follows: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day weekend, St. Patrick's Day, Easter weekend, Memorial Day, Labor Day weekend, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day weekend, Thanksgiving weekend, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Following rates are based on 4 hour long events on NON-HOLIDAY event dates:

  • Rates from $450.00+ - Four hour event actual event time
  • $ 125.00 - Per hour additional time

    *There are no extra fees charged for set-up time. Basic sound-activating lighting included.

    Disc Jockey rates vary based on talent, experience, emcee ability, service, coordination, equipment needed, music knowledge, mixing ability and personality.

    Rates for the DJ industry vary greatly, ranging from $350.00 to $3,500.00 with an average of $1,200.00 for a 4 hour booking. The best price is not always the best deal, especially if you are planning a wedding. As a matter of fact, surveys conclude that nearly 100% of brides would have spent more money on their entertainment and made it their #1 priority in hindsight.     A full-service disc jockey company will normally invest 12 to 30 hours to your special event but it may appear that you are only paying for "4 hours". Consultations, music purchasing & editing, preparation, set-up and tear-down, education and other business related endeavors add up to the overall success of your special occasion.

    Altimix's rates are based on 5 hour long events on NON-HOLIDAYS.

    Wedding and/or Reception Events only -

  • Rates from $795.00+ Up to 5 hours of actual Reception Event time (No charge for set-up time)
  • $125.00 - Per hour additional time for Reception Event
  • $ 75.00 - If you request the DJ/Emcee to show at wedding ceremony rehearsal to coordinate the ceremony
  • $150.00 - Ceremony Music Services (Flat rate regardless of amount of time on event day):We will be glad to provide all of the music for the wedding ceremony itself, including seating/background music for the enjoyment of your guests and wedding party. We charge extra for performing the ceremonial music for a wedding service because of the amount of time that can be involved waiting for guests to show up, to be seated, waiting for the start of the ceremony, all the way to the end of the ceremony itself, can easily run over 2 hours or more total time outside the reception time we will be conducting for you. This may also involve time of setting up and tearing down of extra equipment if the ceremony is going to be held at another location away from the reception. This will help in keeping your reception entertainment time and your dollars maximized! This prevents exhausting the amount of entertainment time contracted for your reception without paying for additional time. So you end up saving all the way around.

    These prices include a professional DJ to coordinate the music, as well as, being the Emcee to conduct the formal events of the reception, 1 wireless microphone, basic sound-activated lighting, digitally-enhanced music played through our premium sound system and our large library of music consisting of thousands of selections of all types of popular music from past to present! Suggestions, Requests and Dedications are welcome! You are also free to use our wireless microphones and sound system for any "public address". Please let us know if you wish to have some or a lot of guest participation. We have many games and gags we could perform that bring out the laughter and make great picture & video moments!

    We will personally meet with you to assist you in the music & entertainment coordination of your entire wedding day! Our extensive library of ceremonial music will provide a personalized atmosphere for your ceremony - from solemn and sacred to festive and outrageous! We will work with you to help you choose the perfect musical selections for a memorable wedding day. Because of the portable size of our "Virtual Disc Jockey" system, we can bring it with us upon meeting and have it set and up playing within minutes where you can actually pick and listen from thousands of songs to be sure it's the right one you're looking for with just a click of the mouse!


    A $100.00 non-refundable deposit and signed written agreement of service(s) is required to completely reserve your event date. The deposit will be deducted from the total and the balance is due in full 7 days before the day of your scheduled event unless other arrangements have been made with us in writing. We operate on a "First Come, First Serve" basis. So once you have made an informed decision, we highly recommend that you submit the signed agreement & deposit right away. If your event is already reserved by another party while your deposit & contract are in transit, we will return any monies paid for the deposit back to you immediately. If your event is cancelled, your deposit can still be applicable to any other event you would like us to do for up to two years after previous planned event provided the availibility of a new chosen date is not already reserved by another party.

    *Any or all rates published on this site are subject to change without notice. Events booked at the last minute or less than 2 weeks before your requested date are to be payable in full by personal check or cash before services will be rendered. Extra travel charges may incur on events located more than 35 miles outside the Modesto area.

  • If you wish to make a secure payment deposit, you have the choice of selecting either Google Checkout or PayPal, to reserve the date you are requesting. If you choose PayPal, you will need to enter the date of your event and click the "Buy Now" button. Depending on your choice, you will either be taken to Google Checkout's or PayPal's secure website for further easy instructions to submit your deposit. *If the date you request is not available, your deposit will be returned immediately.
